Corinthians, again Paul wrote, | 2Co 1:1 |
And all the saints who read this note, | 2Co 1:1 |
Praise God who comforts each of us | 2Co 1:2-4 |
So that to others we're a plus. | 2Co 1:4 |
In comfort or in great despair, | 2Co 1: 5-8 |
As one in Christ all things we share. | 2Co 1: 5-8 |
Let's not upon ourselves rely, | 2Co 1:9 |
But set our hope on God on high. | 2Co 1:9-10 |
Act always with sincerity. | 2Co 1:12 |
Anoint your heart with charity. | 2Co 1:21-24 |
Now when correcting one another, | 2Co 2:5-6 |
Forgive, do not use shame to smother. | 2Co 2: 7-11 |
The news of Christ, like fragrant breath, | 2Co 2:14 |
Of life to some, to others death. | 2Co 2:15-16 |
The only accolate you need | 2Co 3:1-3 |
Is Spirit in the hearts you feed. | 2Co 3:1-3 |
The Law was written down in stone, | 2Co 3:7 |
And through the Law God's glory shone. | 2Co 3:7 |
And while the Law from heaven stems, | 2Co 3:7 |
The letter of the Law condemns. | 2Co 3:6 |
So how much more is glory rife | 2Co 3:8-9 |
In ministry that brings true life? | 2Co 3:6,9 |
The old was good, the new is best. | 2Co 3:9 |
New covenant brings righteousness. | 2Co 3:9-11 |
For through the veil, none has sufficed. | 2Co 3:13-15 |
The only way is Jesus Christ. | 2Co 3:14,16 |
Turn to the Lord, get liberty, | 2Co 3:16-17 |
And unveiled glory you shall see. | 2Co 3:18 |
We speak the truth, with God aligned. | 2Co 4:2 |
Some do not get it 'cause they're blind. | 2Co 4:3-4 |
The one who said, "Let there be light", | 2Co 4:6 |
Shines on your heart to give you sight. | 2Co 4:6 |
It's not from us, mere jars of clay, | 2Co 4:7 |
But through us God his pow'r displays. | 2Co 4:7 |
When trouble comes, he's there to guide. | 2Co 4:8-9 |
When death is near, life he provides. | 2Co 4:10-12 |
So don't give up though flesh decays, | 2Co 4:16 |
Our true selves are renewed each day. | 2Co 4:16 |
Our troubles, tiny, when compared | 2Co 4:17 |
To future glory God's prepared. | 2Co 4:17 |
The things you see will fade real fast. | 2Co 4:18 |
The unseen are the things that last. | 2Co 4:18 |
We're burdened by this flesh and bone, | 2Co 5:4 |
For our eternal form we groan. | 2Co 5:1-4 |
The Spirit is our guarantee. | 2Co 5:5 |
We walk by faith, not what we see. | 2Co 5:7 |
We'd rather be at home with God. | 2Co 5:8 |
We work for his approving nod. | 2Co 5:9-10 |
We fear the Lord. Men we persuade | 2Co 5:11 |
To live for God, not accolade. | 2Co 5:12-15 |
We see not flesh when we see you. | 2Co 5:16 |
Once you're in Christ, you're something new. | 2Co 5:17 |
Christ paid for sin, though undefiled. | 2Co 5:21 |
God's calling you, be reconciled. | 2Co 5:18-20 |
Don't waste his grace, for once you vow | 2Co 6:1 |
To live for God, the time is now. | 2Co 6:2 |
Now don't do anything that would | 2Co 6:3 |
Make church seem anything but good. | 2Co 6:3 |
When hit with troubles or distressed, | 2Co 6:4 |
Show with what guidance you've been blessed. | 2Co 6:4 |
If you are beaten, jailed or robbed, | 2Co 6:5 |
Retun just kindness to the mob. | 2Co 6:6 |
When weary, hungry, do not fear, | 2Co 6:5 |
You have the Holy Spirit near. | 2Co 6:6 |
You've ben made righteous, truly speak | 2Co 6:7 |
Through glory or in harsh critique. | 2Co 6:8 |
No matter what, be rejoicing. | 2Co 6:9-10 |
In God you now have everything. | 2Co 6:10 |
Don't partner with the faithless souls | 2Co 6:14 |
Who've different gods and different goals. | 2Co 6:15 |
"Be set apart. Don't be defiled. | 2Co 6:17 |
I'll be your God, and you my child." | 2Co 6:16,18 |
With godly sorrow, no regret. | 2Co 7:10 |
Repentence and life better yet. | 2Co 7:10 |
But worldly sorrow does not mend. | 2Co 7:10 |
Its path to death leads in the end. | 2Co 7:10 |
Then next Paul wrote on how to give. | 2Co 8:1-4 |
First to the Lord, with how you live. | 2Co 8:5 |
Then by your means, with willing mind. | 2Co 8:12 |
When heart is right, the gift is fine. | 2Co 8:12 |
It's privilege to serve this way. | 2Co 8:4 |
Help others, you'll be helped one day. | 2Co 8:14 |
Have much, but don't get out of whack, | 2Co 8:15 |
and those with little shall not lack. | 2Co 8:15 |
Be generous, get back a lot. | 2Co 9:6 |
Sow sparingly, get diddlly squat. | 2Co 9:6 |
Give from the heart, not doubt or fear. | 2Co 9:7 |
God loves it when you give with cheer. | 2Co 9:7 |
All grace and needs God has purveyed | 2Co 9:8 |
To do the work for which you're made. | 2Co 9:8 |
He'll swell the harvest of your ways. | 2Co 9:10-11 |
Then you give more, he gets more praise. | 2Co 9:11-13 |
We fight not for this earthen clod. | 2Co 10:3-4 |
We fight ideas that deny God. | 2Co 10:5 |
Don't be like those who are not wise, | 2Co 10:12 |
Who think they're great in their own eyes. | 2Co 10:2 |
Don't boast for credit that's undue. | 2Co 10:13-16 |
Boast of the purpose God gave you. | 2Co 10:13-14 |
False prophets might create a buzz | 2Co 11:3-4 |
The way the Adversary does. | 2Co 11:13-15 |
For they beguile, corrupt, and bend, | 2Co 11:3-4 |
But get what's fitting in the end. | 2Co 11:15 |
No matter how your strength may tower, | 2Co 11:16-12:6 |
In weakness God shows his true power. | 2Co 12:9 |
In weakness Christ was crucified, | 2Co 13:4 |
But by God's power, he's alive. | 2Co 13:4 |
And this same power is in you, | 2Co 13:5 |
If you're in Christ, your faith is true. | 2Co 13:5 |
Rely on Jesus, do no wrong. | 2Co 13:7 |
When I am weak, then I am strong. | 2Co 12:10 |
So be made perfect, of one mind. | 2Co 13:11 |
Have peace and cheer and comfort find. | 2Co 13:11 |
Have love for God. From Jesus, grace. | 2Co 13:14 |
And Spirit in a close embrace. | 2Co 13:14 |
